What is Swedish Massage?

Also known as Circulatory Massage, Swedish massage is done with oil, lotion, or cream directly on the skin, on a massage table, with the recipient draped appropriately with sheets. The focus is on improving circulation, lymphatic flow, and reducing superficial muscle tightness.

A Swedish full body massage is the perfect way to relax your body and mind especially if you are overly worked and stressed out.

During this massage the therapist uses a series of long strokes combined with kneading, friction, tapotement, percussion and rocking motions that apply pressure between the fascia, muscles and bones. The strokes follow the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.
